Beth Meador
Director
My name is Beth Meador and I am the Director of St. John’s W.E.E. School. and have been a part of the W.E.E. School for 15 years. I began my time at the W.E.E. School teaching music for one year. I then moved to a 4 year old class as an assistant teacher for 6 years and I assumed the Director role in July of 2014. I am also an active member of St. John’s UMC.
I am originally from Virginia and graduated from Radford University with a Bachelors in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources and a minor in Psychology. I have lived in Fort Mill for 16 years with my husband Bryan. We have 2 children, Chandler is a graduate of Queens University of Charlotte and Lauren is a senior Elementary Education major at Winthrop University. We also have a cat named Hokie. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and grand puppy, traveling, especially to Disney World, reading and scrapbooking.
It is such a joy to watch the children at W.E.E. School learn and grow, physically, emotionally and spiritually.
We would love to have your family join our W.E.E. School family.

Tonda Reynolds
Monday-Friday
4 year olds
I was blessed to join the St. John's UMC W.E.E. School staff as a 4 year-old teacher in 2017. My youngest daughter attended school here and following her preschool graduation, an opportunity became available for me to join the fun!
I have earned degrees in Interdisciplinary Studies (BS K-8) and Early Childhood Education (MAT). I began my career in an elementary setting teaching 3rd grade for several years before joining the magical preschool level that I adore.
Outside of the W.E.E. School, I enjoy spending time with my family, including my husband and 3 children. We consider the east Tennessee mountains home, however, we have lived in 5 different states. We also enjoy spending time outdoors whenever possible and love everything the Fort Mill area has to offer! I am looking forward to a memorable year with each of our 4 year-old students.
Amy Shaheen
Monday-Friday

My name is Amy Shaheen and I have been a teacher at St. John's W.E.E School for 12 years. I am so grateful to be part of this amazing program. My husband and I have four children and a cat named Lacey. When I'm not working I enjoy hiking, golfing, and doing puzzles.

Jen Brown
Monday-Thursday
4 year olds
I am Jen Brown, and I am very excited to be starting my second year teaching Pre K. I have been involved here at the WEE school for the last four years as a substitute teacher before joining the staff full time, a board member, and as a parent. My previous teaching experience includes science at both the high school and middle school level, as well as teaching several years at my church’s preschool in Georgia. While I do have a soft spot for the big kids, I find that preschoolers are my absolute favorite to teach. They appreciate my humor and dancing way more than my older students ever did! There is still so much for this age group to discover, and I look forward to getting to know your child and watching them this learn and grow this year.
My husband and I have been married for 24 years, living in Fort Mill for the past five years after spending most of our married life in Atlanta and a short stay in Indianapolis. We are enjoying the warmer winters in the south and it puts us closer to our extended family. We have three boys, two who attend Fort Mill High, and a first grader who is a W.E.E. School grad and attends Riverview Elementary.
When not teaching, I am usually found with a book in hand, preferably on the beach! I enjoy hiking and playing tennis, and we love to travel as a family when we are able.
This is going to be a very special school year! Thank you for sharing your child with us!

Treva Jones
Monday-Thursday
4 year olds
My name is Treva Jones and I’m excited to be in class with your little one this year. This will be my 9th year in this classroom and I just love this age!
My husband and I are originally from Oklahoma (Go Pokes!). We lived in both Boston and central Illinois before moving here 14 years ago. We have been married 27 years and we have 4 children. My oldest son recently graduated from law school at UGA. My oldest daughter is a junior at Clemson. My youngest daughter works at the Goddard School. My youngest son is a sophomore at Nation Ford. He was actually in this very classroom 11 years ago! (That’s when I knew I loved this age.) And, our family has a 10 year old golden retriever named Tessie.
Before I became a stay at home mom 19 years ago, I was a software engineer; but, I have learned that kids tug at your heart and teach you far more than computers. We will do our best in our class to make your child feel welcome and cared for; we want each student to look forward to coming to school. We are part of a team with you and want your child to be prepared for their next step into the big school. I’ve been in your shoes 4 times. I can tell you from experience that you will blink and your little one will be grown. Soak up every moment of this journey you’re on, and let us know if we can help along the way. I look forward to getting to know your family and helping your child navigate this school year.
Welcome to our class!

Amy McNeely
Monday-Thursday
4 year olds
My name is Amy McNeely and I am the lead teacher in one of the M-Th four year old class. I have a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Development and Education. I have worked with preschool age children for over 12 years with 5 of those years right here at the W.E.E. school in the 4 year old classroom. I took an 8 year break from teaching to stay home with my boys, Andrew and Carter. Fun fact: both of my boys went through the W.E.E. school program!
This is my favorite age of children to teach! I love their wonder and excitement to learn! Every child is different and learns at their own pace. Learning is not “one size fits all”, so we incorporate many different ways and mediums to help all children grow and develop.
When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Matt; our sons; dog, Wilson; and our cat, Leo! I enjoy tending to my houseplants and spending time outside in nature. I am very excited to be a part of your child’s early childhood education!

Hi! My name is Nancy Neal. I am excited to start my 15th year of teaching preschoolers at St. John’s UMC W.E.E. School. Teaching preschoolers is my passion and I love to watch children learn and grow throughout the school year.
I am originally from North Carolina. Ooh! I love my home state! My husband, Craig and I reside in the heart of the town of Fort Mill. Craig and I are recent empty nesters which hits me with mixed emotions. As my family dynamics have changed, I’m thankful for the gift of children in my career. I thrive in the wonders of children with their enthusiasm for learning, their laughter, and their sweet hugs!
Both my husband Craig and my son John are Michigan State University Alumni. Therefore, we are big Michigan State followers. Go Green! My son Jacob is a sophomore at The Citadel. Go Bulldogs! We also love The Carolina Panthers and The Carolina Hurricanes.
Our family has four pets including two cats and two dogs. Kit Kat (Kat) and Ranger are our feline friends and Gretel and Rambo are our precious pups.
A few of my hobbies include walking with my Fitbit, flower gardening, and antiquing/thrifting. Some of my favorite things are chocolate, coffee, and food with cheese on it!
Rachel Guy
Monday, Wednesday, Friday
3 year olds
Hello parents! My name is Rachel Guy, assistant in the MWF 3’s class with Mrs Nancy. I started subbing at the W.E.E. School last year, and came in as a long term sub in February. This preschool has had a place in our hearts long before I started working here. My daughter spent 3 fantastic years working her way through the W.E.E. School. During her time here, I loved being able to volunteer for special events and to help as needed, getting a glimpse into her beloved “school days.” She is off to kindergarten this fall, and I’m so grateful to still be a part of the W.E.E. School family as a teacher!
My husband and I have lived in Fort Mill for 9 years. Along with our daughter, we also have an 8 year old son, and a 10 year old sheepadoodle named Hank. We love being outside, hanging at the greenway, playing sports, and gardening.
I look forward to getting to know your kiddos!

Hi, I am Liza Mills. I am so excited to be teaching in the two year old classroom this year. I am a mother of four children (ages 21 down to 11) living in Fort Mill with my husband, Ken. My two youngest children attended the WEE School! After graduating from Clemson University I embraced my love of children while working at a daycare facility and then as a kindergarten assistant.
