What ages does W.E.E. School serve?

St. John’s UMC W.E.E. School offers preschool classes for 2-year-olds, 3-year-olds, and 4-year-olds. Class options vary by age and enrollment.

Where is St. John’s UMC W.E.E. School located?

We are located at 130 Tom Hall Street in Fort Mill, South Carolina 29715, at St. John’s United Methodist Church.

Is W.E.E. School a Christian preschool?

Yes. W.E.E. School provides a nurturing Christian environment and incorporates Christianity into its theme-based curriculum through Bible stories and weekly Chapel time.

What are the school hours?

Drop-off is from 9:00–9:10 AM, and pick-up is from 12:00–12:10 PM. An optional Lunch Bunch program extends the day until 1:00 PM on available days.

What class schedules are offered?

For the 2026–2027 school year, current class offerings include:

2-Year-Olds: Monday/Wednesday/Friday or Tuesday/Thursday
3-Year-Olds: Monday/Wednesday/Friday or Monday–Thursday
4-Year-Olds: Monday–Thursday or Monday–Friday

Class offerings are subject to change based on enrollment.

What does my child learn at W.E.E. School?

W.E.E. School uses a theme-based curriculum designed to encourage children to learn through their own activity and discovery. Activities include creative play, music, art, stories, cooking, visits from community helpers, and hands-on learning experiences.

Children are also introduced to age-appropriate concepts involving letters, numbers, shapes, and colors.

How does W.E.E. School prepare children for kindergarten?

Our goal is to help children grow socially, emotionally, physically, spiritually, and intellectually while building a lifelong love of learning. Our teachers encourage children to explore and try new things through imaginative play and learning activities while helping prepare them for kindergarten.

Does my child need to be potty trained?

Children in the 3-year-old and 4-year-old classes must be potty trained. Children must also be potty trained to participate in Lunch Bunch.

How much is tuition?

For the 2026–2027 school year, monthly tuition is:

2 days per week: $295/month
3 days per week: $335/month
4 days per week: $355/month
5 days per week: $370/month

The registration fee is $150 per child and is non-refundable upon placement in a class.

When is tuition due?

Tuition is due by the 15th of the month for the following month. September tuition is due August 15. The school also offers a $20 sibling discount off the lowest tuition.

What is Lunch Bunch?

Lunch Bunch is an optional extended-day program offered Monday through Thursday from 12:00–1:00 PM for potty-trained children. Children bring lunch to enjoy with their friends and have additional playground time.

The cost is $20 per month for each day of the week your child attends.

Is W.E.E. School peanut and tree-nut free?

Lunch Bunch lunches may not contain peanuts, tree nuts, or products containing peanuts or tree nuts. If a sunflower butter or similar alternative is packed, families are asked to include a note in the child’s lunchbox so teachers are aware.

When does registration open?

For the 2026–2027 school year, registration opened January 26, 2026 for currently enrolled families and church members and February 3, 2026 for the public.

Can we tour W.E.E. School?

Yes! Tours are available Tuesdays and Wednesdays between 10:00 and 11:00 AM by appointment.

Does W.E.E. School offer summer camp?

Yes. W.E.E. School offers a summer program for eligible preschool-age children. Summer Camp runs for six themed weeks during June and July, with families able to register for as many or as few weeks as they would like.

Does W.E.E. School have special events throughout the year?

Yes. The school calendar includes special activities and events throughout the year. Recent events have included a pumpkin patch, Halloween Carnival, Thanksgiving Feast, Scholastic Book Fair, Cookies with Mrs. Claus, Christmas programs, spirit nights, and more. Events vary by school year, so families should check the current school calendar for upcoming dates.

Who is the director of W.E.E. School?

Beth Meador is the Director of St. John’s UMC W.E.E. School. Beth has been part of W.E.E. School for many years, first teaching music, then working in a 4-year-old classroom before becoming Director in 2014.
